Product Description

Tonys Chocolonely 100% Slave Free Chocolate Bar - White Chocolate with Rasberry and Popping Candy

Our summary: our customers have been raving about this chocolate range so we had to stock it! It's tasty and ethical so win win - definitely worth treating yourself. This fun packed bar would make a fabulous treat  for party bags or presents for little ones or sweet toothed alike!

Break out your disco balls because our new white raspberry popping candy bar is here to get the party started! We mixed creamy, dreamy white chocolate with raspberry and some popping candy to really make this bar pop.

Belgian fairtrade white chocolate with freeze-dried raspberry and popping sugar. cocoa solids: 28% minimum. Produced in Belgium with cocoa butter from Ivory Coast.

156 impact cocoa beans are used for this bar. Last year Tony's sold 43,176,336 bars. The 6,624 farmers who produce cocoa for Tony’s earn a decent income. In addition to the Fairtrade premium they are also paid a Tony’s premium supporting their families and local industry.

Tony's Chocolonely is the only 100% slave free fair trade chocolate company in the world. Tony's mission is to end slavery in the cocoa industry. What a mission and what a great way to change peoples lives with a simple switch for your tasty treat! The more people that choose slave free, the sooner 100% slave free will be the norm in chocolate.

Ingredients:

sugar, cocoa butter, dried whole milk, 2.70% raspberry, 2.00% popping candy (glucose syrup, sugar, carbon dioxide), emulsifier (soya lecithin)

Made in Belgium.

The problem:

Things aren't being shared evenly in the chocolate supply chain. The chain starts with millions of farmers who produce cocoa and ends with the billions of consumers who enjoy chocolate. But what about the bit in the middle? This section is dominated by a handful of chocolate giants that profit from keeping the price of cocoa as low as possible. As a result, farmers are forced to live in poverty. And that leads to illegal child labour and modern slavery.

Slavery?

Right now there is slavery on cocoa farms in West Africa. This is a result of the unequally divided cocoa chain. Tony’s Chocolonely exists to change that. Child labour and modern slavery are against the law - it's illegal and it needs to stop. The situation is complex. But Tony's roadmap will help us accomplish it.

Tony’s 5 rules of the game for slave-free cocoa

With incredibly tasty chocolate, Tony's lead by example and show the world that chocolate can be made differently. By following Tony's rules of the game for slave-free cocoa, it's possible to make slave-free chocolate and be commercially successful.

The more people that choose slave free and spread their message, the sooner 100% slave free will be the norm in chocolate.
